Why novel prize was established?
On November 27, 1895, Alfred Nobel, a Swedish physicist, made his last will and testament, directing the majority of his income to awards in Physics, Chemistry, Physiology or Medicine, Literature, and Peace.
Nobel was a Swedish scientist, engineer, and businessman best known for the invention of dynamite. On October 21, 1833, he was born in Stockholm, Sweden. He spoke several languages and was interested in poetry and play. He was known to be particularly engaged in peace problems and to hold ideas that were considered unconventional at the time. He passed away in 1896. In his will, he left the majority of his assets to establish five awards, which ultimately became Nobel Prizes.
The first Nobel Prize was given on 10 December 1901.

Noble Prize in Physiology and Medicine 2022
Svante Pääbo was given the year’s first prize in physiology or medicine on Monday. Dr. Pääbo, a Swedish biologist, earned for his work on extinct hominid genomes and human evolution.
He received the award for his efforts in recovering genetic material from 40,000-year-old bones, creating a full Neanderthal genome, and pioneering the area of ancient DNA research.
Noble Prize in Chemistry 2022
Novel prize winners in 2022 Chemistry are given to Carolyn R. Bertozzi, Morten Meldal, and K. Barry Sharpless shared the chemistry prize on Wednesday for their work on click chemistry and bio-orthogonal chemistry.
Since 2000, the three chemists have been working independently to develop functional compounds that have “led to a revolution in how chemists conceive about putting molecules together,” according to the Nobel committee.
According to the committee, Dr. Bertozzi is the seventh woman to receive the Nobel Prize, and Dr. Sharpless is the fifth scientist to receive two Nobel Prizes.

Ales Bialiatski, an imprisoned Belarussian activist, Memorial, a Russian group, and the Center for Civil Liberties in Ukraine shared the Nobel Peace Prize on Friday.
“The Nobel Peace Prize laureates represent civil society in their home countries,” remarked Berit Reiss-Andersen, head of the Norwegian Nobel Committee, when the awards were announced. “They have long supported the right to question power and preserve individuals’ fundamental rights.”
The committee stated that it picked the three laureates to recognise supporters of “human rights, democracy, and peaceful coexistence” in neighbouring Belarus, Russia, and Ukraine
Noble Prize in Literature 2022
The French author Annie Ernaux received the Nobel Prize in Literature on Thursday.
The Swedish Academy’s permanent secretary, Mats Malm, praised the “courage and clinical precision with which she discovers the origins, estrangements, and collective constraints of personal memory.”
Ms. Ernaux, 82, is the prize’s 17th female winner since its inception in 1901.
