Mason Ramsey was born on November 16, 2006, in Golconda, Illinois, USA. He began singing at the age of three, and his grandmother taught him how to yodel. He attended the nearby Golconda Elementary School, where he was a straight-A student. Mason was already a popular figure in his hometown, performing at local events, fairs, and festivals.
He first gained national attention in 2018, when a video of him singing and yodeling Hank William’s “Lovesick Blues” in a Walmart store went viral. He was quickly signed by Atlantic Records and began performing at music festivals across the country.
