Trent Reznor is an American singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and record producer. He is the founder of the industrial rock band Nine Inch Nails, and has been the band’s only official member for most of its existence. Reznor has also been involved in numerous other projects, including the soundtrack to the film The Social Network, and the How to Destroy Angels project with his wife Mariqueen Maandig. His work as a composer and producer has earned him numerous awards, including an Academy Award for Best Original Score for his soundtrack for The Social Network.
Early Life
Trent Reznor was born in Mercer, Pennsylvania on May 17, 1965. He was raised in a small town outside of Cleveland, Ohio and developed an early interest in music.
