    Danny Keough is an American musician best known for being the first husband of actress Lisa Marie Presley and the father of her two eldest children.     Early Life

    Danny Keough was born in Santa Monica, California in 1964. His mother was a stuntwoman and his father was a musician. As a child, Keough was exposed to the music industry, often accompanying his father to recording sessions. He began playing the bass guitar at the age of 11 and soon started performing in local bands.

    Keough attended Santa Monica High School, where he met future wife Lisa Marie Presley in 1982. The two married in 1988 and had two children together, Danielle Riley Keough and Benjamin Storm Keough.

    Musical Career

    In the late 1980s, Keough started his own recording studio in Los Angeles. He worked with many musical acts, including Guns N’ Roses, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, and The Cult. Keough also performed in the band Soda Pop Kids, which was signed to Geffen Records in 1989.

    In the early 2000s, Keough joined the rock band The Used as their bassist. He recorded three albums with the band and toured extensively with them. Keough left the band in 2005 to focus on his family.

    Later Life

    In recent years, Keough has kept a relatively low profile. He has continued to work as a musician, playing bass on Elvis Presley’s posthumous album, Where No One Stands Alone. He has also appeared in a few of his daughter’s movies, including Mad Max: Fury Road and American Honey.

    Keough is currently living in Los Angeles with his third wife, photographer Alejandra Silva. The two married in 2019 and have a son together.
