Aqib Talib is an American professional football player who plays for the Miami Dolphins of the National Football League (NFL). He has been selected to the Pro Bowl five times and was also named an All-Pro in 2016. Talib has played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Denver Broncos, New England Patriots, and Los Angeles Rams. Early Life
Aqib Talib was born on February 13, 1986 in Cleveland, Ohio. He grew up in the city of Richardson, Texas, where he attended Berkner High School. Talib was a highly recruited athlete and was named an All-American by Parade Magazine. He was also selected to the USA Today All-USA team. Talib attended the University of Kansas where he was a two-time All-Big 12 selection.
NFL Career
Talib was drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the first round of the 2008 NFL Draft. During his six seasons with the Buccaneers, Talib was selected to four Pro Bowls and was a first-team All-Pro in 2016. In 2013, Talib was traded to the New England Patriots, where he won a Super Bowl ring. In 2014, he signed with the Denver Broncos and was selected to his fifth Pro Bowl. In 2018, Talib was traded to the Los Angeles Rams, where he played for two seasons before signing with the Miami Dolphins in 2020.
