Jackie Walorski was born in Mishawaka, Indiana on August 3, 1965. She attended Marian High School in Mishawaka and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Indiana University in 1988. After college, she served as a legislative aide in the Indiana General Assembly, where she learned the legislative process.
Education and Professional Career
Walorski attended Northern Illinois University College of Law, where she received her Juris Doctor degree in 1991. She then worked as a deputy prosecuting attorney in St. Joseph County, Indiana. Later, she was appointed as the St. Joseph County Veterans Service Officer, a position she held for seven years, and then worked as a legislative lobbyist for the Indiana State Bar Association.
