Early Life
Warwick Davis was born in Epsom, Surrey, England in 1970. His parents, Ashley and Susan Davis, both worked in the special effects industry. He was born with spondyloepiphyseal dysplasia, a rare form of dwarfism. Despite his condition, Davis was determined to become an actor. He attended the City of London Freemen’s School and later the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.
Acting Career
Davis began his acting career in 1983 when he was cast as an Ewok in Return of the Jedi. He reprised the role in the Ewok television films Caravan of Courage and Battle for Endor.
